We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our vibrant team! The Logistics Supervisor will help us continue spreading the joy of gardening and making it accessible by managing LTL shipments and deliveries of the Company product. If you have exceptional attention to detail and you are passionate about sustainable living and making a difference, we would love to have you on our team! This is a full-time, on-site position based out of Tomball, TX.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Establish LTL logistics structure with cost and efficiency in mind.
  • Request and review quotes from LTL vendors.
  • Negotiate sipping rates with LTL vendors.
  • Establish mutually beneficial business relationships with LTL vendors.
  • Schedule LTL shipments and deliveries of Company product.
  • Monitor shipments progress from start to finish.
  • Manage daily routes and schedules of LTL shipments and deliveries.
  • Implement cost effective and on-time delivery routing strategies for Company's delivery network.
  • Evaluate existing processes to recommend and implement best LTL management practices.
  • Monitor and analyze LTL cost and efficiency and implement continuous improvements.
  • Follow Company safety and quality procedures; and other policies and guidelines governing Company operations.
  • Perform other duties and related projects as assigned by direct supervisor or the Leadership Team.

Requirements

Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:

  • 3+ years of proven experience managing LTL shipments and deliveries.
  • Experience in direct-to-consumer and e-commerce environment is a huge plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Location and Work Schedule:

  • 13808 Boudreaux Road, Bldg. #2, Tomball, TX 77377:
  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Lunch break 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.

Benefits

  • The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 annually
