Channel Ship Services Limited (CSS) is seeking experienced and skilled Offshore Surveyors & Senior Surveyors (4DNAV) to join their team.

We are looking for personnel experienced with the below:

• Sonardyne Fusion 1
• Visual Soft DVR
• MS Office
• ACAD

The Offshore Surveyors & Senior Surveyors (4DNAV) will play a crucial role in maintaining standards and following industry best practices. They will be responsible for conducting surveys and inspections to support various maritime operations, including maritime security, seismic survey, marine mammal observation (MMO), protected species observation (PAM), fisheries liaison officer (FLO), client personnel transfer (CPT), cargo receipt transfer (CRT), offshore survey, remotely operated vehicle (ROV) operations, and quality, health, safety, and environment (QHSE) compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct offshore surveys and inspections according to project requirements and standards
• Carry out positioning and navigation activities using Valeport Interphase software
• Perform topographic surveys to assist in the planning and execution of marine construction projects
• Participate in pre-survey meetings and provide input on survey methodologies and processes
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of survey results
• Utilize Seamesh software for offshore survey operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Geodesy, Oceanography, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an offshore surveyor
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment
• Proficiency in using survey software, including EIVA NaviPac, AutoCAD, and Valeport Interphase software
• Familiarity with offshore operations and safety procedures
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work accurately under demanding conditions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work on a rotational basis and travel to various offshore locations
