Boys & Girls Clubs of El Paso is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Online Tutor. As an Online Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing educational support to children and teenagers in our community. Responsibilities

• Conduct online tutoring sessions with students, focusing on subjects such as Math, English, Science, and Social Studies.
• Create individualized learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student.
• Assess student's performance and progress, providing constructive feedback and academic guidance.
• Implement effective teaching strategies and utilize online educational resources to enhance student's learning experience.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other staff members to ensure students are receiving appropriate support.
• Develop and maintain a positive and supportive rapport with students, fostering a conducive learning environment.
• Monitor student attendance and engage in regular communication to track progress and address any challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in an online setting.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of core subjects such as Math, English, Science, and Social Studies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Patient and compassionate personality, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Proficient in using online learning platforms and educational technology tools.
• Flexibility to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
