Job Description: Ridder Orthodontics is seeking a passionate and skilled Orthodontist to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis, working 2 days per week. As an Orthodontist with Ridder Orthodontics, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission of transforming smiles and enhancing the lives of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive orthodontic examinations to assess patients' dental health and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Develop customized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, considering factors such as age, dental history, and treatment goals.
- Perform orthodontic procedures including but not limited to braces, aligners, retainers, and other orthodontic appliances.
- Monitor patient progress throughout the course of treatment, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to patients and their families regarding oral hygiene, dietary habits, and orthodontic care techniques.
- Collaborate effectively with other members of the dental team to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal treatment results.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments and advancements in the field of orthodontics through continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program.
- Board certification or eligibility for board certification by the American Board of Orthodontics.
- Current state license to practice dentistry in Texas.
- Strong clinical skills and proficiency in orthodontic techniques and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
