Candidate must reside within the city or commute to be considered. The position is in-office while training with hybrid opportunity later.
Experience in multi-state payroll including setting up and maintaining taxes required.
About the role:
- As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for accurate and timely processing of payroll for the company's employees in UKG/UltiPro.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure the accuracy of employee data and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain payroll reports, records, and documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and timely.
- Ensure data integrity by verifying employee information and resolving any discrepancies.
- Comply with payroll laws and regulations.

- Assist with year-end payroll tasks and reporting.
- Handle employee inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.4
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field or 2-3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Multi-state payroll experience (including setup and maintenance of taxes); experience with UKG/UltiPro preferred.
- Strong understanding of payroll procedures, laws, and regulations.
- Excellent knowledge of payroll systems and software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
