Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer

CTTX Health is seeking a skilled and experienced Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. As a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing specialized ultrasound examinations on pediatric patients to assess heart structures and detect any abnormalities or cardiac conditions. You will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and detailed imaging studies to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric cardiac patients. Key Responsibilities:

• Performing cardiac ultrasound examinations on pediatric patients, including structural assessments, Doppler analysis, and 2D/3D imaging.
• Preparing patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment, including making necessary adjustments to optimize image quality.
• Assisting with image interpretation and collaboration with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families during the examination process.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Valid certification or license as a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer.
• Proficient in performing specialized cardiac ultrasound examinations on pediatric patients.
• Expertise in using ultrasound equipment and imaging techniques for pediatric cardiac studies.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric cardiac anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
