Job Details
The Pool Service Technician is responsible for the smooth daily cleaning of customers' pools. This is a long-term permanent position with guaranteed full-time pay all year round even in the slow season. We provide everything needed to become a pool professional including training/certifications/licensing, a new truck, pay for gas, supplies/tools needed, and a smartphone (can be used for personal use).

- Cleans assigned pool, spa, equipment and areas adjacent, filter systems, etc. for the purpose of maintaining a safe and sanitary condition.
- Inspect and evaluate swimming pool, decks, mechanical equipment for the purpose of ensuring that it is suitable for safe operation, maintained at an attractive and clean condition, and/or identifying and reporting necessary repairs.
- Maintains pool, including proper pH and Sanitizer levels and balanced water. Reads, maintains, and/or adjusts various types of water analyzers for the purpose of complying with mandated safety and health requirements for pool water purity and balance.
- Maintains records for the purpose of providing an up-to-date reference trail.
- Responds to inquiries from customers and management staff for the purpose of conveying information regarding swimming pool operation.
- Stocks route truck with equipment and adequate supplies for the purpose of completing a daily route.
- Services customers in an assigned route of 55-60 pools weekly.
- Perform duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have a valid and current Texas Driver’s License
- Must have satisfactory background check and drug test results.
- Must be able to write and speak basic English.
- Good driving record and no DWI or DUIs
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Specific skills required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: adhering to safety practices, handling hazardous materials, and preparing and maintaining accurate records.
- Knowledge is required to perform basic math, including calculations using percentages or ratios, reading a variety of manuals, and/or presenting information to others.
- Ability to work in a variety of circumstances with a wide diversity of individuals.
- The working environment involves lifting upwards of fifty pounds, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling. Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching. The job is performed under and with some temperature and weather extremes and some adverse conditions.
