Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth running of services offered at the shelter.
- Lead, manage, and mentor the dedicated team of employees from Teneo Linguistics Company onsite.
- Coordinate and liaise effectively with partner organizations, ensuring synergy in our collective mission.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our esteemed client onsite.
- Regularly report to the Program Director, providing updates, insights, and recommendations for continual improvement.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and local regulations.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns promptly, ensuring the welfare of the children remains paramount.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managerial roles, preferably in environments catering to vulnerable populations.
- Past involvement in projects with organizations like HHS, FEMA, Red Cross, or similar will be a distinct advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Spanish is highly advantageous, though not mandatory.
