Description:
The Software Developer is responsible for the design, development, coding, customization, configuration, testing, and deployment in support of One Park Financial enterprise solutions. Reporting to the VP of Product & Technology, the Software Developer collaboratively works with all technology teams to research, design and implement innovative application solutions. We are seeking a unique individual that excels working in a fast-paced environment, where creativity and risk-taking are encouraged and production stability and quality is expected.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize established development tools, guidelines, and conventions including but not limited to SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, ASP .Net, and C# .Net
- Prepare and maintain code for various applications and resolve any defects in systems.
- Prepare test-based applications for various applications.
- Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan, and identifying areas for modification and improvement
- Manage defect tracking system, resolve all issues, and prepare updates for systems.
- Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
- Create technical specifications and test plans
- Monitor the everyday activities of the system and provide the required support.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable of a wide range of tools and technologies in software development including GitLab, C#, and AWS (Salesforce knowledge a plus)
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent with programming experience
- 3+ years of design and/or development experience with .NET, C#, and SQL Server in an n-tier architecture.
- Strong background in object-oriented development techniques
- Solution Design Patterns and Best Practices
- Database design and development (Microsoft SQL Server)
- Experience with Web Services, REST, and Service Oriented Architecture
- Experience with concurrent development source control (Git) and JIRA project management
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.
