Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain Officer to ensure seamless operations.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of goods using various modes of transport, with a primary focus on trucking.
- Develop and maintain efficient transportation schedules to optimize delivery timelines and costs.
- Manage relationships with transport providers to ensure high levels of service and reliability.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic solutions.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and warehousing teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and transportation activities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in multi-modal transport operations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
