We’re looking for our first Team Lead, Integration Services to join the MealSuite team. This role will lead a small team of Integration Specialists who manage software integrations between MealSuite and customer/vendor environments.
A day in the life as Team Lead, Integration Services:
- Guide integration specialists to offer exceptional experience to customers during their integration projects
- Act as liaison between integration services and other customer services, ensuring a standardized experience for the customer and aligning internal processes
- Collaborate with Product team when rolling out new integrations to ensure adequate documentation and preparation
- Monitor active integration projects to ensure timely execution, profitability, and delightful customer service
- Coach Integration Specialists regarding integration specs analysis, project management, customer relationship management, and user acceptance testing
- Ensure integrations are well-supported with adequate documentation and clear procedures, including collaboration with other company organizations such as Sales & Marketing
In the first 6 months, you’ll be successful at reaching these milestones:
- Establish standard operating procedures for each integration type:
- HL7 and FHIR integration projects with EMRs
- Vendor integrations (EDI, API, flat file)
- Point of Sale (POS) integrations
- Put in place tracking mechanisms to ensure profitability and success of integration projects
- Within first year, integration projects are significantly streamlined, with measurable increases in efficiency and reductions in onboarding and integration adoption time
If the below describe your knowledge, experience and character, this role could be for you:
- I have experience leading EMR/EHR integration projects following HL7 standards and, where applicable, FHIR specifications
- I have knowledge of software integrations specific to the Healthcare/Healthtech or Commercial Supply Chain industries
- I gained my knowledge through a BA/BSc in a technical field and 5+ years of direct experience in software integrations
- I’m familiar with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standards and protocols and, ideally, GS1
- I have a strong background in user acceptance testing (UAT)
- I have formal people leadership experience
- I’m exceptional at project management
- I’m extra passionate about thorough training and documentation
- I’m willing to occasionally travel and have a valid passport and no travel restrictions that limit my ability to cross the border between Canada and the USA
- I thrive in an agile environment that is constantly changing and encourages team members to collectively collaborate and communicate
- I love to be directly involved in projects and initiatives that offer continued learning and endless opportunity to express my ideas and build my leadership skills
