The Vice President (VP) of Pre-Construction & Business Growth is responsible for leading and driving the business development strategy within the telecommunications industry. This executive role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, overseeing the proposal development process, and ensuring the company's growth and profitability. The VP will work closely with the President to align business development activities with Doota Industrial America's strategic goals.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Vision and Execution:
· Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with Doota Industrial America's overall objectives.
· Identify market trends, client needs, and competitive positioning to shape the business development approach.
· Collaborate with the President and executive team to set long-term goals and create actionable plans.
Financial Management:
· Develop and manage the business development and pre-construction budget.
· Monitor and report on the financial performance of business development activities.
· Ensure that business development efforts contribute to the company’s profitability.
Client Relations:
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
· Lead efforts to understand client needs and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
· Act as the primary point of contact for major clients and projects.
Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:
· Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and new markets.
· Evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on strategic fit and potential for growth.
· Develop strategies to enter new markets and expand the company’s client base.
Proposal Management and Negotiations:
· Oversee the development of proposals, bids, and presentations for potential projects.
· Lead negotiations with clients and partners to secure contracts and agreements.
· Ensure proposals are competitive and align with the company’s capabilities and goals.
Cross-Department Collaboration and Communication
· Work closely with other departments including operations, accounting, supply chain, and estimation to support business development efforts.
Mentorship and Development:
· Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
· Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
· Communicate business development goals, strategies, and progress to the executive team and other stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development within the construction, telecommunications, or semiconductor industry with a proven track record of success.
· Strong understanding of the construction industry, including, project management, and client relations.
· Excellent leadership, communication, Presentation and negotiation skills.
· Ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to work in office or at the client location 5 days per week.
. Ability to speak Korean is a plus but not required.
