Warehouse Delivery Driver - Dallas

Full Job Description

We are looking for a Warehouse Delivery Driver to provide excellent customer service for our business and to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner while delivering artificial turf and, occasionally landscape supplies, on a predetermined route, as well as proactive deliveries to same day orders.

A positive attitude and a desire to promptly deliver customer orders will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers are satisfied with the process and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.

Responsibilities

• Go the extra mile to engage customers
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle - F650 w/electric pallet jack

• Help Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
• Ensure racks are fully stocked
• Manage returns of merchandise
• Coordinate with your team to provide excellent delivery service (especially during peak times)
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services
• Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
• Inform customers about new products and services
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

Requirements

• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Basic math skills
• Be able to lift 50-70 pounds
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments

• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations

Bonus Points for the Following*

• Experience driving an F650 or similar delivery vehicle
• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
