Key Responsibilities:
- Customer-Centric Sales: Engage with early adopters and prospective clients to build strong, trusted relationships. Understand the unique 'why' behind each customer's decision, contributing to improved revenue retention and customer success.
- Strategic Growth: Drive sales by identifying and nurturing opportunities within digital healthcare, insuretech, fintech, and martech/HR sectors. Your tech sales expertise will be crucial in understanding client needs and delivering compelling, customized solutions.
- Collaborative Success: Work as part of a global team, navigating timezones and collaborating with technical support to ensure our solutions meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Opportunity Development: Lead the sales process from discovery through closure, showcasing your ability to be a strategic thinker and a skilled negotiator.
- Personal and Professional Growth: As a critical hire, you'll have ample scope for personal development, contributing directly to our strategy and expansion efforts in the US and beyond.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years in tech sales, with a track record in cybersecurity, data protection, or Development Tooling/RDBMS products. Experience in our key sectors (digital healthcare, insuretech, fintech, martech/HR) will be a significant advantage.
- Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, adept at consultative sales, and capable of strategic thinking towards customer success.
- Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment, ready to learn and apply new concepts rapidly.
- Collaboration: Experience working within cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions. Most of the team is located in Australia, so having the ability to accommodate later meetings is a must.
- Travel: Openness to travel across the US, as required, to meet with clients and foster relationships.
- Location: A strong preference for Denver or San Francisco based candidates
- Startup to Scaleup: Strong preference for experience in PMF and GMF stages of company development.
