FMX is seeking an Account Executive Sales Manager to lead and mentor a team of top-notch Account Executives by helping them drive growth and success of our facilities management solutions in the Public Sector (K-12, Education, Higher Ed and Local Government). In this role, you'll be responsible for the team’s delivery on ambitious sales targets, while also rolling up your sleeves to work directly with prospective FMX customers. You'll also play a key-role in building out the operations for our fast-growing Mid Market team by improving playbooks, best practices, and our best-in-class sales toolkit. We’re looking for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and someone who can solve problems on the fly. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Director of Sales
- Hire, Train, and Manage a team of top-performing sales reps
- Maintain a minimum target of 80% quota participation rate across your team
- Work with your Account Executive team to maintain efficient and accurate Monthly and Quarterly Forecasts
- Implement and maintain effective coaching strategies based on prescribed sales methodologies and processes
- Resolve routine problems and act as the first point of escalation for AEs.
- Work together with the Account Executives you manage to qualify and close new business deals.
- Provide feedback and market insights to the Director of Sales and the VP of Sales
- Monitor KPIs daily, weekly, and monthly while holding reps accountable for their metrics.
- Make recommendations on potential process improvements or system changes that could help make the team more efficient.
Requirements
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
- Minimum of at least 1 year managing sellers in a remote-first environment
- Minimum of at least 3 years of experience in a direct selling role - SaaS sales preferred
- Demonstrated ability to implement effective coaching strategies
- Experience with MEDDIC/MEDDPICC framework a plus
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience providing constructive feedback to direct reports, colleagues, and peers
- Ability to manage schedules and deliver results by the desired deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional Problem Solver with a high figure-it-out mindset.
The hiring process for this role:

- Final Interview: A 60-minute panel interview with a few teammates who you’d be working with on a daily basis.

Compensation:
- The base salary range for this position is expected to be $85,000-95,000. This position is also eligible for commissions. On target earnings for this position is $125,000-135,000.
