The Accounts Receivable Manager at The Willows Communications is responsible for overseeing the company's accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection of payments and maintaining positive client relationships. This role is critical in managing cash flow and financial integrity, enabling the organization to meet its operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Manages the full cycle of accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reporting on outstanding balances.
- Develops and implements effective credit and collection policies to minimize delinquencies and maximize cash flow.
- Monitors accounts receivable aging reports, identifying and addressing discrepancies and overdue accounts promptly.
- Prepares regular financial reports on accounts receivable performance and shares insights with senior management.
- Collaborates with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with key clients, ensuring clear communication regarding payment terms and collection efforts.
- Oversees daily activities of the accounts receivable team, providing training, support, and performance management.
- Utilizes accounting software and tools to streamline accounts receivable processes and increase efficiency.
- Conducts credit checks and analyzes creditworthiness of new and existing clients.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and relevant regulations affecting accounts receivable functions.
Supervises the accuracy and completeness of accounts receivable transactions, contributing to the overall financial health of The Willows Communications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPA) are advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or finance management, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, credit management, and financial regulations.
