ABOUT VENTURA
Ventura Trust (VT) works exclusively as a trustee for a retirement plan called an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and serve more than 150 ESOP-owned companies. We are a dynamic team of 22, working on client service, client support, and company management issues. As an ESOP Trustee, VT buys, owns, and sometimes sells companies on behalf of our client’s employees, working at the intersection of finance, M&A, and social equity.

POSITION DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Reporting to the Relationship Manager, the Analyst is responsible for assisting with, coordinating and evaluating new client opportunities, annual valuation updates, as well as documenting various aspects of transactions, and post-transaction processes.
Requirements
Sales & Pre-acceptance assistance with
- Potential Engagement Summaries
- Preparation of RFPs and proposals
- Interviews
- Preparing documentation
Relationship Management Team Assistance
- Respond to client emails
- Participant in annual update process including preparing checklists and minutes
- Special projects
Transaction Coordination
- Assist with obtaining initial and revised engagement letters for trustee team
- Maintain transaction checklist
- Contemporaneously record transaction milestones in Salesforce
- Gather and file documents
- Complete client checklist and maintain client electronic files
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively participate in ESOP training & certifications
- Excellent compliance with internal processes
- Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree; preferably Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Comprehensive understanding of financial statement
- Interest in obtaining ASA, CPA, ABV or similar professional credentials
- Strong written and oral communication
- Ability to work effectively with others to meet organizational goals
- Work independently with limited supervision
- Efficient organizational and planning skills
- Effective time management and ability to prioritize work
- Ability and willingness to respond constructively to rapid change
- Computer proficiency; Office 365, Teams and Salesforce
COMPENSATION
· Salary range: $60,000 to $75,000 depending on qualifications (salary range for Senior Analyst position higher for more experienced candidates)
· Annual discretionary raise: Eligible
· Annual discretionary bonus: Eligible
