Azure AI Architect

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AI Architect to join our dynamic team.

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Architect with experience in software engineering and application architecture. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering solutions that drive maximum business value and a competitive market advantage. The AI Architect will guide technical teams into best practices for scope management, quality control, and continuous delivery, while leveraging DevOps/DevSecOps automation and AI throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure consistent, measurable, quality results. The candidate should be experienced in public, private, government, and hybrid cloud implementations and migrations.

The AI Architect will be responsible for delivering complex software solutions for supply chain management, secure financial transactions, quality control workflows, disparate systems integration, and zero-trust architecture. The candidate should be proven in data science, AI engineering, and generative AI to improve performance, increase engagement, and maximize efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement AI solutions that meet stated customer business objectives by improving performance, increasing engagement, and maximizing efficiencies.
• Guide technical teams into best practices for scope management, quality control, and continuous delivery.
• Leverage DevOps/DevSecOps automation and AI throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Deliver Secure Solutions that address Data Boundaries and Data Management
• Develop and maintain AI models and algorithms for various applications, including but not limited to, natural language processing, machine learning, and data analytics.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows.
• Stay abreast of the latest AI trends and technologies, and assess their viability for adoption within the organization.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior AI engineers and data scientists.
• Ensure AI solutions adhere to ethical standards and comply with relevant regulations.
• Deliver complex software solutions for supply chain management, secure financial transactions, quality control workflows, disparate systems integration, and zero-trust architecture.
• Work with public, private, government, and hybrid cloud implementations and migrations.
• Work with Pre-Sales Engineering staff to scope solutions, develop AI solution offerings, and present to customers.

Requirements

Technical Experience:

General Azure Knowledge

• Functional understanding of core Azure services such as Role Based Access Control, Resource Organization (groups, tags, regions, naming), 
• Knowledge of Private Endpoints, integration into an existing virtual network, and how to resolve DNS.

Azure OpenAI

• Understanding of OpenAI financial/performance models: Tokens and PTU (Provisioned Throughput Units – Dedicated compute) to guide customer on environment utilization
• Configure a System message to develop an OpenAI Persona.
• Understanding how System messages and prompts relate to the selected financial/performance model
• Adding an AI Search Data Source to OpenAI Deployment Model
• Understanding of OpenAI functional capabilities (Content Generation, Summarization, Search) to align System message and AI Search data source to their desired goals

Azure AI Search (Cognitive Search) – Understanding of pricing tiers, configuring indexers to custom data sources, configure skillset “split skill”

Azure App Service - Understanding of App Service scaling and organization, Identity and Authentication Staging, Deployment of OpenAI App Services, Configuring Security Groups

Azure Storage Account - Knowledge of storage account deployment options and configuration of access, back up, and lifecycle policies

Azure Virtual Network - Understanding of networking fundamentals and deployment of private endpoints

Azure Private Endpoint - Understanding of how to create and manage private endpoints

Azure DNS - Understanding of DNS fundamentals

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Azure Cloud and Certifications.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and application architecture.
• Experience in team building, process automation, scope management, risk/security management, business analysis, and mentorship
• Proven experience as an AI Architect or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful AI projects.
• Deep understanding of AI methodologies, including machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks.
• Experienced with Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Hybrid Cloud, and Azure Gov
• Experienced with following disciplines and development methodologies: DevOps, DevSecOps, API integrations, software lifecycle management Data Science, machine learning, AI engineering, cognitive services, generative AI, IoT data pipelines, data visualization, web/mobile apps, Angular, React, Flutter, microservices, infrastructure as code, continuous delivery, automated testing, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, business continuity, disaster recovery, .Net / C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, C, C++, PHP, VB, VBA, ASP, BASIC, COBAL, PASCAL, Rust, Go (Golang), HTML, CSS, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, YAML.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
