JOB SUMMARY: The Business Analyst is a key individual in the implementation of our Irth Land Management software solution. You will be a client-facing individual that works under minimal supervision with clients to understand their business and translate business needs into requirements. You will also be the focal point for requirements documentation, communication, and configurations.  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Engaging with customers and internal stakeholders to thoroughly understand business needs
• Lead clients through business-requirements sessions.
• Document requirements in the form of statements of work, process flow diagrams, and other artifacts.
• Take client’s “as-is” Business processes and formulate the “to-be” process within our product(s).  Identify gaps and new features as necessary.
• Lead team through detailed system and business process analysis; ensures enhancements and solutions positively contribute to, expand upon, and do not conflict with overarching product(s) strategy.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for assigned clients.
• Design user-interface wireframes and create design-specification documentation.
• Evaluate and determine ‘must-have’ vs ‘nice-to-have’ requirements and guide clients to optimal solutions.
• Coordinating user acceptance testing to secure sign-off of new features.
• Assist with project planning and tracking.
• Conduct training sessions.

EDUCATION:

Undergraduate degree in IT/business or related field preferred.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Business Analyst experience preferred.
• Undergraduate degree in IT/business or related field preferred.
• Right-of-Way experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and ability to solve complex problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate requirements to clients and superiors.
• Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills.
• Effective communication of requirements to cross-functional team members.
• Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate.
• Software Development Life Cycle with Agile methodology focus is a plus.
• Desire to be a part of a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
