Trilagen is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Business Development Representative to join our Cloud division. In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in driving our growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities within the cloud services space. Your responsibilities will include researching potential clients, initiating contact, and qualifying leads to present our cloud solutions effectively. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, possess exceptional communication skills, and demonstrate a strong interest in cloud technology. At Trilagen, you’ll have the chance to impact clients' businesses positively while furthering your career in a cutting-edge technology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the cloud services market.
  • Establish connections with the AWS SMB and Enterprise Teams in the North East.
  • Research target clients and reach out via email, phone, and social media to initiate conversations.
  • Qualify leads to ensure alignment with our cloud solutions and prepare them for the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate records of lead generation activities and report on outcomes to management.
  • Stay informed on cloud industry trends and competitor activities to position our services effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; prior experience in a sales or business development role is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or sales, particularly within the cloud services sector working with AWS.
  • Must live in New York City or have ability to travel into NYC daily.
  • Existing connections and knowledge of the AWS SMB and Enterprise sales teams in the Northeast.
  • Solid understanding of sales processes and ability to foster relationships with potential clients.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a talent for engaging prospects.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with advanced concepts and emerging trends in cloud computing.
  • Familiarity with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and OCI.
