Business Systems Analyst
Years of Experience: 13 – 20 years relevant experience
Education Requirements:A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field then four additional years of related experience is required.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews, analyses, and evaluates user needs to create systems solutions that support overall business strategies.
- Documents system requirements, defines scope and objectives, and creates system specifications that drive system development and implementation.
- Incumbents function as a liaison between IT and users and have both business and technical expertise.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- 10 years experience overseeing the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
- Provides technical advice and guidance to customers, field employees and managers both orally and in writing on commercial product acceptance policies, programs, and regulations.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics.
- Typically performs all functional duties independently.
- Works on high-visibility, or mission critical aspects of a given program, and performs all functional duties independently.
- Work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team.
- May be required to create time sensitive deliverables and respond directly to incidents in ServiceNow.
- May lead project teams within assigned unit to develop, plan and manage project tasks.
- Independently analyze and develop innovative resolutions for complex problems involving availability and/or performance at the component level. Work with vendors to resolve problems; implement solutions independently.
- Responsible for problem resolution for advanced technical issues in the environment
- Able to communicate verbally and in writing and provide training.
- Conducts data analysis in support of product acceptance programs and initiatives; collects and analyzes data to identify trends and insights and summarize findings.
- Develops reports and makes recommendations based on results.
- Analyzes package mail entry data to reconcile customer payments; monitors and ensure customer payments are received accurately and timely.
- Develops and presents recommendations to management to improve the monitoring and accuracy of revenue collection.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to reconcile customer accounts and payments and determine if refunds are warranted.
