Cloud Infrastructure Manager

What You'll Do:

As our Cloud Infrastructure Manager, you'll spearhead:

• Crafting a comprehensive Cloud Controls blueprint, roadmap, and data model.
• Directing day-to-day operations encompassing build, deploy, and release activities.
• Automating infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and delivery within the cloud.
• Providing support and troubleshooting for cloud deployment and environment issues.
• Cultivating and managing relationships with cloud vendors.
• Taking ownership of the program budget and ensuring transparency in program spending.
• Implementing robust monitoring tools and intuitive dashboards.
• Upholding high standards of execution across the team.
• Enforcing security and privacy standards and practices in our environment.

Requirements

This role is 100% hands-on and open to applicants eligible to work in the United States, residing in AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, NY, NC, PA, TN, or TX.

• Extensive hands-on experience in constructing and managing scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Strong grasp of standard Internet services and protocols (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP).
• Experience with SaaS backend products.
• Proficiency in Cloud Architecture.
• Sound skills in Linux system administration.
• Proficient with Git.
• Enthusiasm for exploring new technologies.
• Excellent collaborative and relationship-building skills.
• Process-oriented mindset.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and passionate about delivering excellence.
• BA/BSc in Engineering/Computer Science or similar.

Advantages:

• Background in development and experience in software architecture are highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in DB administration, particularly with Postgres.
• 3+ years of DevOps experience.
