Full Job Description
As the Controller, you will play a critical role in our organization's financial management and planning. Reporting to the President, the Controller will be the trusted source for delivering consistent recommendations and feedback to enhance the company's financial well-being.
You will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including systems and integrations. This role is critical in providing strategic financial guidance to the executive team.

Key Responsibilities
- Pro-forma Modeling: Work closely with the executive team on pro-forma modeling and planning for ongoing and new business investments. Create real-time financial budgets and projections to better support decision-making.
- Financial Reporting: Produce accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Monitor and report on financial performance against budget and make necessary adjustments. Manage month-end close and generate monthly financial statements.
- Cash Management: Manage cash flow, investments, and banking relationships. Optimize working capital and minimize financial costs. Perform Daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow projections and reconciliations.
- Bookkeeping: Maintain accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledgers to support external Accounting Firm and Executive team. Pay invoices promptly and partner with department heads to follow up on accounts payable and accruals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Experience working in physical retail inventory businesses with multichannel distribution
- Strong understanding of financial management, analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and taxation.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
