Walnut Way Conservation Corp. is searching for a passionate Customer Service Representative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be the frontline support for our community, helping to ensure that our clients and stakeholders receive exceptional service and support aligned with our mission.
The ideal candidate will be a friendly and proactive communicator, capable of addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering positive relationships with our community members. You will play a critical role in enhancing the overall customer experience, contributing to the positive reputation of Walnut Way.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information and exceptional support.
- Assist with processing applications, providing guidance on services, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Document interactions with customers and input data into CRM systems to track inquiries and resolutions.
- Identify customer needs and communicate feedback to relevant departments to improve service delivery.
- Promote Walnut Way’s programs and initiatives, ensuring community awareness and engagement.
- Handle customer complaints professionally, seeking solutions to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to improve service knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate with team members on outreach efforts to foster community relationships.

Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to empathize and connect with diverse community members.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
- Familiarity with nonprofit operations and community engagement is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in communication or a related field is a plus.
