The Director of Commercial Operations is a strategic leader responsible for driving the commercial team’s effectiveness, optimizing critical functions, and managing key areas within the commercial organization. This role combines analytical rigor, people management and strategic thinking to enhance overall sales performance. This position is responsible for leading, coaching, reviewing, and developing junior sales analysts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Strategically design and implement effective sales processes driving back office for commercial team.
· interpret commercial sales data to provide actionable insights and drive strategic decision-making for revenue growth and market competitiveness.
· Streamline sales workflows, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
· Work with leadership on territory design and productivity metrics. Develop compensation plans for the commercial team.
· Research and develop balanced territory alignments with corresponding quotas.
· Drive CRM data management tool-adoption to support robust and predictable growth and efficient business processes.
· Provide supervision, mentorship, and development to Sales Operations Analyst(s).
· Oversee Sales Operations Analyst as they manage CRM tools for contact, account, and opportunity management, and evaluate integrated solutions for marketing automation and other tech stack needs.
· Stay current on market trends, maintaining awareness of competitor activity, competing products, services, and relevant organizations. Recommend appropriate product solutions and evaluate sales techniques within the industry.
· Responsible for all other aspects of planning, scheduling, organizing, managing, and assessing performance on all sales programs and contracts.
· Work closely with the legal team on contract management and negations.
· Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and People Operations to establish policies and procedures.
· Commit to the establishment of and adherence to regulated compliance processes and procedures.
· Lead and manage a team.

Furthermore, information will only be released internally on a need-to-know basis. All Team Members will not discuss patient cases outside the office or with anyone not employed by this company unless they are directly involved with the patient’s care.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum of 7 years’ work experience in sales or sales operations
· People Leadership for minimum 5 years
· Experience creating and implementing sales incentive programs.
· Experience in budgeting, forecasting and planning.
· Strong Presentation skills
· Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
· Experience using cloud-based systems such as Salesforce and Pardot
· Expert user in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Salesforce Maps
PREFERRED:
· 3 years’ experience in medical device industry
· Strong project management skills
· Analytical mindset
· Prior experience in medical technology or other life science industries
· Primarily home-office based role
· Variable conditions during travel
· Extended hours when needed
· Kestra manufactures and provides life-saving products regulated by the Federal Food and Drug Administration and under contract with Medicare. Kestra maintains a drug free workplace and testing is a condition of employment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· Frequent stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time
· Frequent computer use
· Frequent phone and other business machine use
· Occasional lifting required, up to 20 pounds
TRAVEL:
· Occasional travel, domestic, may be required, less than 30%

Salary: Annualized at $154,000-$165,000, plus bonus. Depending on experience and location.
