Full Job Description
Symmetrio is recruiting for a Director of Hospital Sales (SouthEast Region) for our client, a leading medical equipment service company. Reporting directly to the VP of Business Development, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic plans for customer growth and expansion within the assigned geographic markets, covering the following states: Texas, Florida, North & South Carolina, Arkansas, Georgia Alabama and Mississippi. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in sales, strong Healthcare experience, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers. Previous experience in hospital sales/medical imaging sales is a plus. This position requires 50%70% travel and the ideal candidate should live near an airport hub.
Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 per year
Variable Compensation: $75,000 (based on performance)
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple customer relationships within assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital administrators, purchasing, biomedical engineering, and other decision makers.
- Identify new business opportunities and lead contract negotiations to drive growth within accounts.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to grow market share.
- Generate key insights through market analysis to clearly differentiate solutions offerings from competitors and build rationale for implementing new solutions.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, including marketing, product development and customer service, to ensure successful implementation of sales plans
- Maintain accurate and up to date account information and sales forecasts in CRM system.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree, graduate degree preferred, in a business or science related field
- 5+ years of multi-state outside sales experience; preferably in the SouthEast
- Preference given to candidates with previous experience in the Medical Device/Technology industry. Long sales cycle/capital equipment experience is a must.
- Proven experience in selling to the C level suites of Hospitals and Universities as well as with procurement and operations leadership
- Demonstrated sales success in attaining quota objectives, managing account relationships, and developing new account opportunities.
- Excellent written, presentation and oral communications skills are a must.
- Utilize networking venues (conferences, seminars, trade shows) to build productive relationships
- Willingness to travel up to 70%
