Full Job Description
Symmetrio is recruiting for a Director of Hospital Sales (Western Region) for our client, a leading medical equipment service company. Reporting directly to the VP of Business Development, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic plans for customer growth and expansion within the assigned geographic markets, covering the following states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Las Vegas, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in sales, strong industry experience, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers. This position requires 50%70% travel and the ideal candidate should live near an airport hub.
Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 per year
Variable Compensation: $75,000 (based on performance)
Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive market opportunity analysis, including strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities.
- Develop and implement a customer growth and expansion plan in collaboration with C-suite decision-makers.
- Map customer relationships and set growth goals.
- Identify new business opportunities and position multiple products effectively.
- Act as a team leader to ensure excellent customer service and experience.
- Proactively resolve situations to prevent potential escalations.
- Manage projects to support key customer relationships and prevent losses.
- Interact effectively with senior-level stakeholders internally and externally.
- Communicate persuasively, educating, challenging, and motivating desired actions.
- Utilize networking venues (conferences, seminars, trade shows) to build productive relationships.
- Develop competitive/industry contacts to stay informed about trends, changes, and opportunities.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to safety, health, and quality in compliance with company, governmental, and customer regulations.
Requirements
- Proven track record in sales with applicable industry experience in the Region.
- Strong tenure to justify compensation.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in planning, organization, and time management.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
