Acentra seeks a Director of Quality Management to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

The position will be responsible for leading the qualitative and quantitative research and data analytics related to policy, development, and implementation of an efficient, coherent, and cohesive system of oversight for the state Medicaid Contract.

*Position is remote with the United States, but candidates must be able to work Eastern Time Zone business hours. 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Expert experience with developing Medicaid programs and policies
  • Mastery knowledge of Quality Framework for long term care programs
  • Serve as the primary Subject-Matter Expert (SME) regarding LTSS-related quality standards required per Federal and Administrative rules and developing effective monitoring tools.
  • Ensures the implementation of key performance indicators and develops and maintains systems for tracking, reporting, and improving performance. 
  • Directs all quality improvement activities, provides continuous improvement consulting services to internal customers, employs knowledge of performance improvement strategies, principles, methodology, techniques, and data analysis. 
  • Promotes awareness of customer requirements throughout the operation. Effectively manages internal and external vendor communications by collaborating and disseminating reports, defining program descriptions, and sharing analytical findings.
  • Ensures quality and sustainability of quality management system production processes.
  • Establishes key performance indicators and maintains tracking, reporting and performance improvement systems.  
  • Expert experience identifying and analyzing system deficiencies and problem solving to prevent recurrence.
  • Expert experience implementing and overseeing day-to-day operations related to special projects or programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) from an accredited college or university
  • 3+ years of management experience in a health-related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of CQI tools, methods and techniques, and an excellent grasp of SPC.
  • Knowledge of URAC, NCQA and/or ISO background.
  • Ability to take initiative, provide leadership, maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines and work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Highly developed analytical skills with an ability to objectively evaluate data and perform statistical analysis.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $110,000-125,000.

Based on our compensation philosophy, an applicant’s placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.
