What the Director of Sales role looks like:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Lead and mentor the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance.
- Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure alignment of services offered.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to stakeholders.
- Track and report sales metrics, analyzing performance and identifying areas for improvement.
What our ideal candidate looks like:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or equivalent experience in a leadership role.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in sales, preferably in the transportation or trucking industry.
- Knowledge of the truck maintenance and repair industry is required.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively lead, mentor and train.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM systems.
Environment:
- Standard office setting
- Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs
- Must be able to sit for up to 4 hours at a time
