About the Role

Location: Remote Position

Duration: August – December 2024 (possibility to extend into Spring 2025)

We are seeking a motivated and talented Software Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real projects that impact our business, gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, and learn from experienced engineers. This internship is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle and SaaS product development.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications.

• Assist with working on both front-end and back-end development tasks to build and enhance our web applications, contributing to the full software development lifecycle.

• Collaborate with the development team to implement new features and improve existing functionality.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

• Conduct research on new technologies and tools that can enhance our SaaS products.

• Propose innovative solutions to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Assist in creating technical documentation for new and existing software features.

• Maintain comprehensive records of development processes and changes.

Qualifications:

• Current student who is pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Interest in software startups.

• Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design.

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages

• Familiarity with web development frameworks and technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js) is a plus.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.

Benefits

This is an hourly position. Expected hours are no more than 20 a week at $25 an hour.
