Full Job Description
RVB Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized File Clerk to join our team. As a File Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper filing, storage, and retrieval of documents and records to support our company's operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Sorting and categorizing incoming documents and files
- Creating and maintaining filing systems, both physical and electronic
- Labeling and indexing files for easy retrieval and reference
- Ensuring proper storage and organization of files
- Performing routine audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Retrieving and delivering files as requested
- Archiving and disposing of outdated files in accordance with company policies
- Collaborating with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Requirements
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a File Clerk or in a similar role
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in file management systems and software
- Strong knowledge of filing best practices and records management
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
