About the role

As a Founding Account Executive at Sequel.io, you'll play a crucial role in driving our company's growth. You'll be responsible for building strong relationships and showcasing how our technology solutions can truly make a difference. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding team and actively contribute to both our product development and company values.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate intimately with our technology, design, and leadership teams to develop solutions that fulfill our customers' requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their marketing needs, business objectives, and illustrating how Sequel can simplify their webinar strategy and reduce costs.
  • Demonstrate the value of our technology, whether addressing tech-savvy individuals or beginners in the webinar space.
  • Familiarize yourself with our product roadmap and ensure our solutions meet the client's expectations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with important customers. Act as the liaison between customers and our teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Strategically prospect into CMOs, Marketing Directors, and others in related field.  
  • Manage the full sales cycle.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle SaaS sales roles.
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication skills: articulate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Adaptability in a dynamic environment: embrace change and stay updated with evolving technology.
  • Effective collaboration with various teams: coordinate with engineering, product, and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment effectively.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Passion for feedback: Sequel.io values the exchange of positive and constructive feedback. Actively provide feedback to drive the best results for the company and be open to receiving feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Must be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.
