Full Job Description
Digital Scientists is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer who has SAP Data Knowledge to work full time remotely within the United States.
As a key member of our technology division, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the digital landscape of our business. You'll work within a Node/TypeScript stack to architect and develop a dynamic customer portal that integrates seamlessly with our existing SAP data sources. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across design, development, and product management, you will leverage your full stack expertise to create robust solutions that enhance user engagement and streamline business processes.
At Digital Scientists, we solve data integration challenges in a collaborative environment with daily stand-ups and pair programming, while also balancing time to work independently. Digital Scientists is a growing firm, adding software development expertise to our team who want to work with a variety of clients to build customized data architectures.
Job Duties
- Work across the full stack, building digital solutions that facilitate positive user experiences and measurable business growth.
- Utilize your familiarity with ERP concepts, preferably SAP, to ensure our solutions meet complex business requirements.
- Work primarily in Node, Typescript, & React among others.
- Assume leadership of new projects from conceptualization to deployment.
- Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design.
- Participate in all aspects of agile software development including attending project stand-ups, defining requirements, scoping, implementing, and deploying.
- Collaborate across time zones remotely via Slack, GitHub comments, documents, and frequent video conferences where required.
- Work directly with clients to achieve the best results for their projects.
Requirements
- 6+ years of development experience
- Familiarity with SAP/ERP environments, preferably in Logistics & Warehouse management
- Strong skills and experience in JavaScript coding skills with the ability to write well-documented, well-tested code
- Additional coding language skills e.g. Ruby and Python desired
- Proficient with modern web technologies such as JavaScript ES6/7, CSS3, and HTML5
- Preferred experience with Azure, including familiarity with Azure Logic Apps
- Experience with Mulesoft is a plus
- Experience managing large datasets, creating efficient rollup tables, and performing data aggregation
- Strong experience with Git
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts
