Head of Manufacturing (Relocation Package Available)

Global Life Science Hub has partnered with a one-of-a-kind, global CDMO that specializes in providing comprehensive development and manufacturing services. With an additional 50% growth expected in the Iowa site before the end of 2024, we’re searching for an experienced Manufacturing Specialist who will be expected to spearhead their manufacturing operations.

This is a 100% on-site role with relocation assistance available in Iowa. This is an exceptional for an experienced Manager opportunity who would like to take a step up and oversee an entire manufacturing facility, reporting directly to the General Manager and given the opportunity to relocate out of any major busy cities to join one of America’s most affordable states in the Heartland of America.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to meet business goals.
• Manage relationships with global suppliers, product management, and operations.
• Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to drive manufacturing improvements.
• Implement initiatives to reduce costs and enhance productivity.
• Establish standards and guidelines for manufacturing and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Oversee production planning and inventory management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing management (preferably in a regulated industry).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing best practices and GMP regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
