The Role
We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing employee relations, ensuring HR compliance across all states we operate in, maintaining and updating HR databases, and assisting with various HR functions to support our growing team. This role is pivotal in enhancing employee satisfaction and fostering our values-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Relations: Handle all individual employee requests and inquiries, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- HR Compliance: Maintain compliance with state and federal labor regulations across all jurisdictions of our workforce.
- Record Keeping: Organize, maintain, and update personnel records and HR databases with new hires and existing employee data.
- Policy Management: Review, revise, and update company policies, ensuring they reflect our values and compliance requirements.
- Document Preparation: Prepare HR documents, including new hire guides, employment contracts, and compensation lists.
- HR Support: Assist the recruitment, talent acquisition teams, and other HR staff with onboarding and other HR activities.
- Payroll Assistance: Provide the payroll specialist with accurate and up-to-date information on employees, including leave records, overtime, and schedules.
- Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits, partner with Benefit Brokers for renewals, and coordinate open enrollment.
- Employee Satisfaction: Implement new perks, benefits, and team-building activities to enhance job satisfaction.
- Compliance: Ensure the organization's compliance with labor regulations.
Requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience (3 - 5 years) as an HR Coordinator, Generalist, Specialist or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent understanding of state and federal employment legislation, particularly in a remote work environment.
- Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Base Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
