Overview
As a key member of our Information Communication and Technology team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Technology Operations, this role supports daily operations and leads data analytics initiatives to deliver critical insights to stakeholders. The position focuses on implementing robust data standards, extracting and synthesizing data from various sources, and transforming it into actionable metrics. Responsibilities include constructing comprehensive data sets, monitoring data quality, and troubleshooting database issues to maintain data integrity. With expertise in data visualization tools and BI platforms, and proficiency in data modeling, this role produces insightful reports, data files, and intuitive dashboards. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, this team member ensures a deep understanding of their objectives and needs, driving informed decision-making and innovative solutions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Data Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze data to extract meaningful insights and identify trends, patterns, and correlations relevant to our business, products and services.
- Reporting and Visualization: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate key findings and trends to stakeholders.
- Requirements gathering and documentation.
- Modeling source data: Collaborate to design and implement data models that facilitate data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence needs.
- Data ingestion and transformation.
- Updating and maintaining data dictionary and business glossary.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Power BI Administration
- Team/Business Unit Onboarding for Power BI
- Row-level and Object-level Security
- Data Governance and Data Management
- Solution/Program Ownership – Project Management
Data Cleansing, Preparation, Migration and Integration
The ability to clean and prepare data is fundamental. This involves handling missing data, removing outliers, and ensuring that the dataset is in a usable format for analysis.
- Familiarity with Data Engineering best practices to design, develop and orchestrate data pipelines that are used to produce analytic products like reports, dashboards, ML models, etc.
- Responsible for moving, integrating, and cleansing data in a manner that is highly automated, fault-tolerant, performant, and in line with the needs of data consumers.

Candidate Profile
Based on this role’s scope and responsibilities, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications, skills, attributes, and competencies:
- Detail oriented, Decision quality, adaptability – Effectively analyzing data, creating appropriate visualizations, and communicating results of analyses to various levels of leadership in a relevant manner.
- Drives results – Strong independent judgment, discretion, critical, and analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills required.
- Manages complexity – Understanding contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
- Plans and aligns - Collaborate closely with stakeholders including business users, analysts, and decision-makers to understand their requirements, objectives, and challenges. Translate business needs into actionable insights and data-driven solutions.
- Strategic Mindset - Lead or assist in managing data analysis projects from inception to completion. This involves defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in coordination with stakeholders. Ensure adherence to project milestones and deadlines.
- Tech Savvy - Anticipating and adopting innovations in business-building digital and technology applications.
Technical/Functional Skills
- Tableau/Power BI experience (creating dashboards and reports) Data visualization
- SQL
- Data Governance
- Data security and permissions
- Data cleaning and preparation
- Exhibit exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness.
Minimum:
- 2-4 years of experience with data analysis
Preferred:
- Mulesoft API Management
- Salesforce (creating dashboard and reports) Data visualization
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate PL-300

Additional Information
Travel Requirements: This role will be required to travel to the headquarters in Fort Collins on a quarterly basis.
Work Location: This role will be remote in the US.
Base Compensation: $80k is the projected annual base salary for this role depending on the candidate’s overall qualifications and experience. You may also be eligible to receive bonus and benefits.
