DockMaster Software is looking to hire an experienced Implementation Specialist to join our growing team in the US!
The Implementation Specialist is responsible for making sure customers are utilizing DockMaster Software to its full potential.
The successful Implementation Specialist will be responsible for handling new client onboarding and trainings, creation of product documentations and videos, and assisting with quality assurance testing. DockMaster is a financial management platform for marine and marina businesses worldwide. Customers utilize DockMaster to manage their service jobs, inventories, sales, storage agreements and customer engagement. The successful candidate will be based anywhere in the EST / CST / MST time zones, working in a remote work model!
What your day will look like:
- Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand each client’s unique business processes and requirements
- Develop and execute customized implementation plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
- Configure and customize DockMaster software solutions to fit client needs, including data migration and system integration
- Provide comprehensive training to clients, ensuring they are proficient in using the software and can leverage its full capabilities
- Work closely with the sales, support, and development teams to provide feedback and insights for customer satisfaction initiatives
- Managing, creating, and updating of classes, tutorials, and implementation documentation
- Stay up to date with all aspects of the Dockmaster software and assist with quality assurance testing
- Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously, maintaining clear communication and exceptional service standards
- Offer ongoing support to clients post-implementation, addressing any issues and promoting the adoption of new features and updates
- Complete online and in-person client training and implementations, travelling up to 1-2 times per month (up to 10 days total)
About You:
- DockMaster Software or equivalent software experience is mandatory
- Marine Industry, Boatyard Administration, Marina experience (using DockMaster Software or similar)
- Ability to travel for on-site training and implementations up to 1-2 times per month (up to 10 days total)
- Proven experience in software implementation, training, or customer support, ideally within the marine industry or similar sectors
- A bachelor’s degree, with a preference for Business or Accounting or a similar discipline, is advantageous
- Technical proficiency with business management software, CRM systems, and database management
- Familiarity with DockMaster products is essential
- Knowledge of GAAP, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger
- 2+ years’ experience in Project Management, Implementation, or Training capacity
- Experience with SQL, data analysis tools, data formatting
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with new software updates regularly
- Self-starter mentality: your instinct is to figure out what is next and move with or without explicit direction
- Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects and responsibilities at the same time
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential
- Legally authorized to work in the US
