Acentra is looking for a Senior Instructional Design and Training to join our growing team.

The Instructional Design and Training Senior is responsible for the independent development and delivery of training solutions. They may interact closely with internal staff and external vendor partners to effectively balance multiple content development workstreams. They may also implement detailed training project and content documentation, including requirements, project plans, project schedules, risk mitigation plans, team status reports/communications, lesson plans, learning materials, and work trackers.

Additionally, the Senior is responsible for writing and editing the learning content for end-user training, creating job aids and documentation, participating in design activities, and developing lesson plans. The Senior is involved in learning program development, supporting the technical training environment, overseeing classroom training, and updating training materials.

 Job Summary:

Instructional Design

  •  Learn assigned Acentra Health application/system and applicable Acentra Health/client clinical and operational workflows.
  • Participate in workflow design and system build sessions to gain an in-depth knowledge of the system functionality and rationale for the workflow designs.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation and all course materials for scenario-based, role-oriented education.
  • Build, maintain, and prepare training environments for training classes.
  •  Ensure all materials for each course are ready for scheduled classes.
  • Facilitate or work with trainers to deliver end-user training. (May be assigned to manage a team of matrixed support, such as Trainers who also present training)
  • Act as a resource to aid in eLearning course development, ongoing new hire education, go-live/end-user support, demonstrations of the system, and other duties pertinent to onboarding & education.• Manage the development and implementation of training programs for the assigned applications and impacted end users
  • Manage the development and implementation of training programs for the assigned applications and impacted end users.

Project Management

  • Provide the Acentra Health Training Manager and Director with project and content development expertise and management.
  • Plan and manage day-to-day activities, including prioritization of work, development, and execution of 300+ work plan tasks, coordination of resources, and meeting plans.
  • Monitor team performance, deliverables, and adherence to timelines against performance requirements.
  • Report weekly completion of work plans for outstanding work, issues, and risks to the Acentra Health Training Manager.
  • Work with other teams to coordinate team activities with other instructional design teams to integrate work and instructional design, build, testing, and delivery.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss team—and training-related activities, issues, changes, communications, and updates.

Compensation 

The compensation for this role is between $77,00k and $97,00K a year plus benefits.

“Based on our compensation program, an applicant’s position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.”

Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience considered in place of degree
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience in adult education or instructional design, including experience in planning and developing learning objectives and course materials (eLearning content development using authoring tools, e.g. Articulate 360/Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia).

Preferred Experience:

  • 8 or more years of experience in education/staff development and/or a clinical area, preferably a combination of both clinical experience and education.
  • Proficiency in project management tools to effectively lead and deliver successful organizational initiatives.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and tools to effectively support users.
