Acentra is looking for a Manager of Business Communications - EAP to join our growing team.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager of Business Communications - EAP to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing various communication functions in the business operations department of the EAP, including creating and disseminating engaging and informative communications, managing client communications during the implementation process, and coordinating communication projects across all verticals of the EAP. This role requires a blend of creative writing, planning, project management, and effective communication skills to ensure that our EAP offerings are effectively communicated to our clients and their employees.
Job Responsibilities:
- Project management: responsible for the management and execution of communications across departmental projects and campaigns.
- Technical support: Responsible for content planning and delivery of updated and relevant content in our mobile app as well as website.
- Clinical Content Creation: Develop and produce high-quality content for a variety of communication channels, including email newsletters, handouts, tipsheets, articles, blogs, brochures, and podcasts, tailored to educate on various mental health-related topics and promote EAP services to client organizations and their employees.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with the EAP team to design and implement communication strategies that effectively highlight the benefits and features of our EAP services, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational goals.
- Client Communication: Collaborate with the Client project team to ensure that the impacts of decisions and approaches are viewed across the solution work streams. Understand dependencies and workflow intersections by the client.
- Trend Analysis: Track, identify, and report trends relating to the content produced and ingested by clients, members, and providers. Tracking open, click, and return rates against projects and defining success for communications.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute communication campaigns that drive awareness and utilization of EAP services. Monitor and analyze campaign effectiveness, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Educational Materials: Create educational and promotional materials that enhance understanding of EAP services, support soft-skill development in workforces, and support client efforts to promote these resources within their work organizations.
- Feedback and Reporting: Collect and analyze feedback from clients and employees regarding EAP communications and services. Prepare reports and presentations to track engagement and impact.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, such as account management and organizational services to ensure cohesive messaging and effective communication delivery.
- Stay Informed: Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging communication tools to continually enhance the effectiveness of EAP promotions.
Requirements
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field, or a degree in a mental health-related field, with proven experience demonstrating necessary writing and communications skills.
- 5+ years of experience in a communications role, preferably within the EAP, or if not, within mental health, healthcare, or the wellness sector.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to develop and execute project plans.
- Excellent communication (oral and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with content management systems and email marketing tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience with data analysis and reporting.
- Implementation process planning experience.
- Experience with Project management software.

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $77,000-80,000 annually.
“Based on our compensation philosophy, an applicant’s position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.”
