Overview of the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for consolidating and analyzing marketing data from various sources to provide actionable insights and recommendations to the Creative teams that would comprise Copywriter, Digital Designer and Video Producer.. This role requires proficiency in Google Sheets, data analysis, Automation and a deep understanding of marketing strategies. The Marketing Engineer will work closely with our Creatives and marketing team to optimize campaign performance and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. Consolidate marketing data from multiple Google Sheets into a comprehensive master sheet using tools and automation scripts.
  2. Develop and maintain Google Apps Scripts to automate data collection, processing, and reporting tasks.
  3. Incorporate multiple AI tools into automation processes to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.
  4. Analyze marketing data to identify trends, patterns, and key performance metrics, providing actionable insights to the marketing team.
  5. Create detailed reports and visualizations to present data insights and performance trends using tools like Google Data Studio.
  6. Provide recommendations on effective hooks and angles for direct response ad copy, creative design, and video content based on data analysis.
  7. Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop and optimize campaign strategies informed by data insights.
  8. Continuously monitor and refine data processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and relevance of marketing data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Apps Script, and Google Data Studio.
  • Experience with AI tools and automation scripts for data collection and processing.
  • Experience with Python, R or other programming languages is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, preferably within a marketing context.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, or similar.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple data sources, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with marketing and creative teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively translate data insights into actionable recommendations.

Work Arrangements

  • For Singapore-based team members, working hours are fixed, from 10am to 7pm SGT from Mon - Fri
  • For remote team members, your working hours will be discussed prior to employment
  • Once-a-week team meetings (time TBD), with shorter check-in calls throughout the week when necessary
