Chicago Cornea Consultants, LTD is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Medical Help Desk Technician to join our team. As a leading ophthalmology practice, we are committed to providing exceptional eye care services to our patients. As a Medical Help Desk Technician, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and assistance to our staff members with various medical software and technology applications. Your strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent customer service will contribute to our goal of delivering the highest standard of care and service.

This position is for a full-time experienced Medical Help Desk Technician who can demonstrate proficiency in medical software and technology support. Experience working in a healthcare or medical setting, particularly with electronic medical records systems, is highly preferred.

The ideal candidate must have excellent technical skills and knowledge of medical software, hardware, and networking concepts. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the Medical Help Desk Technician will interact with staff members at all levels and provide guidance and assistance with technology-related issues. The ability to troubleshoot problems, analyze data, and research solutions is also required.

We are looking for a Full-time Medical Help Desk Technician to join our team. The Medical Help Desk Technician will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our staff members regarding medical software and technology applications. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, be customer-oriented, and have the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and assistance for medical software and technology applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and network-related issues
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of medical software and systems
  • Train staff members on the use of medical software and technology applications
  • Document and track technical issues and resolutions in a help desk system
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in medical technology
  • Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve complex technical problems

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Medical Help Desk Technician or in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of medical software, hardware, and networking concepts
  • Experience with electronic medical records systems and other relevant medical applications
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and work well with staff members at all levels
  • Ability to troubleshoot and research technical issues
  • Knowledge of industry trends and advancements in medical technology
