Full Job Description

As an Engagement Manager you can expect to…

  • Act as the Engagement Manager for projects and primary escalation point for any client issues
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their business needs, challenges, and objectives
  • Build relationships with client sponsors and key stakeholders while proactively managing and mitigating risks, identifying issues before they happen
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, status updates, and collaboration, identifying opportunities for additional services to the client
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of Microsoft solutions to provide strategic guidance and recommendations to clients, understanding their requirements and translating them into effective solutions
  • Lead end-to-end project management, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality
  • Effectively manage project risks, scope changes through change order management, and resource allocation to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Engage and manage relationships with stakeholders, executives, project sponsors, and end-users
  • Proactively communicate project progress, achievements, and challenges to ensure alignment and transparency
  • Minimize write-offs and non-chargeable/non-billable work; equivalent to no more than 2.5% of total revenue
  • Identify potential roadblocks and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful user adoption
  • Stay current with the latest industry trends, Microsoft updates, and product enhancements to ensure overall project delivery excellence
  • Keep the HSO project team fully updated on all client feedback to ensure adherence to client expectations
  • Monetize data – Azure, Power BI, and other platform cloud services

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in an Engagement Management or similar role
  • Business acumen: Strong understanding of products and niches
  • Track record of high achievement in a team-based and results-oriented culture
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership to people and mission to achieve business objectives
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work diligently with colleagues and clients to meet business goals
