Full Job Description
Symmetrio is actively recruiting for an Oracle eBusiness HCM Techno-Functional Analyst for our customer, a large government organization in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our client's Oracle HCM system. This position requires a strong problem-solver who can analyze, research, document, and resolve complex production support issues. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in Oracle technologies and tools to configure and optimize business processes, supporting our client's city-wide rollout of HCM functionality to a workforce of over 30,000 employees.
Responsibilities
- Research and resolve break-fix and enhancement requests related to Oracle eBusiness HCM and OBIEE
- Develop questions to enhance understanding of functional specifications and test conditions
- Write and update technical specifications using clear prose, flow charts, data flow diagrams, etc.
- Estimate development effort required for tasks
- Create new development items and retrofit existing ones following defined coding and documentation standards
- Meet project delivery schedules
- Uncover, document and research unanticipated development issues
- Execute and document unit test cases based on functional specifications
- Participate in break-fix and testing efforts
- Escalate issues affecting delivery and quality that are beyond scope of influence
- Provide detailed weekly status reports to development leads
- Perform code reviews of deliverables completed by onsite and remote developers
Requirements
- 10+ years of Oracle HCM implementation/upgrade experience as a developer
- Hands-on experience with Oracle development and integration technologies
- Knowledge of building and supporting customizations and 3rd party system integration
- Experience on integrated client, consulting firm and/or Oracle consultant teams
- Oracle HCM upgrade/implementation experience in public sector, higher ed or healthcare
- Experience with upgrade/implementation in multi-entity shared services environment with 30,000+ employees
- Expertise integrating with Oracle financials, student, OBIEE, custom/3rd party systems and providers
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, Project, SharePoint)
- In-depth knowledge of HCM transaction processing and OBIEE technical development
- Understanding of full SDLC from a development perspective
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of HCM data
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, documentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Extensive experience supervising, coaching and driving timely, high-quality deliverables
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
