POSITION SUMMARY
The Vasion Ecosystem and Alliances (E&A) Team is looking for a result-focused, go-getter Partner Manager, ready to bring outstanding ideas, the ability to execute, and teamwork to the team. The role will report to the VP of Ecosystem and Alliances.
What You Will Be Doing
Drive market awareness of the joint solutions and generate partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue. Major responsibilities include but are not limited to the list outlined below:
1. Enable internal and external sales and marketing resources.
- Organize sales and marketing enablement sessions to enable sales and marketing resources internally and externally with relevant knowledge of the partnership.
- Develop sales playbook content in support of the partnership assigned.
2. Relationship building with partner sales organizations.
- Serve as the E&A partners’ key point of contact within the partner’s sales organization
- Build working relationships with key partner stakeholders and influencers.
- Run a regular cadence of meetings with relevant stakeholders.
- Create and align peer-to-peer relationships as wide and deep as possible.
- Stay informed of the partners changing business strategy, roadmap, sales, and partner priorities and ensure these are communicated to colleagues and relevant stakeholders internally, with business plan(s) updated as needed.
3. Navigate within partner organizations to identify joint-selling opportunities and joint marketing plans.
- Ensure the joint marketing plan between Vasion Partner Marketing and the respective partner marketing team is created and kept updated.
- Collaborate with Partner Marketing to implement the joint marketing activities and plan.
- On assigned partner accounts or the assigned territory/territories of an assigned account, drive engagement activities with selected partners across the entire sales cycle.
- Create target account lists with each rep, then work on identifying the appropriate partner, to map the appropriate partners with the appropriate accounts.
- Leverage the support of channel teams from both parties to help close out any opportunities or business issues involving channel partner(s).
4. Tracking, reporting, and updating business plans.
- Maintain KPI measures for partner performance, analyzing leading indicators of performance to propose corrective action where needed.
- Create and update the regional partner matrix document to highlight the Vasion-3rd party integration, use case(s), and helpful resources.
- Identify applicable territorial strategic relationships with key partner stakeholders and influencers including regular reporting and QBR process.
5. Meet and exceed assigned quarterly objectives and revenue goals.

Successful technology partnerships deliver many benefits for Vasion including increased brand awareness, market perception, customer satisfaction and retention, and the ability to fill portfolio gaps. The key metrics of success for the partner manager role are:
- Enablement of internal sales and partner field sales reps
- Leads generation.
- Pipeline generation.
- Partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue
- Access to new logos - through account mapping exercises with our partners to help each other get access to new logos.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of partner-facing role in managing and growing partner relationships and delivering business outcomes.
- A thorough understanding of technology business sales processes, sales cycles, opportunity management, sales KPIs, and experience working with sales teams.
- Some technical background or understanding of relevant technologies to identify potential partners, use cases, and integrations.
- Excellent communication skills across a range of personas
- Attention to detail and experience applying robust processes to ensure accuracy in execution and reporting.
- Personal accountability and the ability to execute effectively in a complex and dynamic environment.
- Team focus - happiest when winning as a team.
- Creative and problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box.
Other Beneficial Skills or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or technical fields. An MBA is a plus.
- Experience in using Microsoft Office Suites of products, Google Workspace (aka. G Suite), CRM (eg. Salesforce), analytics tools (eg. Tableau, Domo, etc.), and other SaaS business applications.
- Detailed-oriented with excellent tracking and reporting skills.
- Experience working in a globally distributed remote team
