ARETUM, a leading government contracting company specializing in technology-enabled mission support services, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Nutritionist SNAP-Ed to join our team. Responsibilities
- Maintain the SNAP-Ed Connection website using Drupal content management software.
- Update the English and Spanish recipes housed on the MyPlate Kitchen website.
- Perform web and literature searches.
- Review documents for 508 compliance and provide remediation as needed.
- Write and edit content for weekly SNAP-Ed email and social media campaigns.
- Develop graphics for SNAP-Ed Connection outreach.
- Provide customer support and answer reference emails.
- Update seasonal and holiday recipes and menus.
- Assist with hosting SNAP-Ed webinars.
- Support the NEB federal staff and the SNAP-Ed Connection team needed.
- Complete special projects as assigned by NEB or the SNAP-Ed Connection team leader.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Nutrition or Public Health
- Master’s Degree in nutrition or public health preferred
- 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of Master’s degree
- Experience working post master’s degree: 5+ years
- Registered Dietitian: 5+ years
- Prior experience working in the government sector: 5+ years
- Experience working with the USDA SNAP-Ed program: 5+ years
- Drupal Experience
- Track record of success in a self-directed environment
- Subject matter expertise, customer service skills, project leadership, experience publishing nutrition content on the Web, information organization skills, data management skills, and information technology knowledge, including experience with the Drupal content management system.

- A track record of working independently and efficiently;
- A demonstrated passion for government nutrition assistance programs;
- Experience with information architecture, user experience testing, marketing, GovDelivery, and knowledge and experience with Section 508 compliance.
