Full Job Description
WHO YOU ARE
As a part-time Telehealth Emergency Physician, you will play a pivotal role in delivering virtual emergency medicine to patients, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate treatment, ultimately reducing unnecessary ER visits. We only hire board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians who address risks judiciously.
You will work alongside a dedicated team of virtual Navigators to assist patients in overcoming barriers, bringing your expertise in Emergency Medicine to the forefront of their healthcare journey. This results in significant improvement in patient lives and consistently high satisfaction scores, averaging above 9.7/10.
Your experience in handling in-person emergencies will be essential in managing risks in the context of virtual care and secondary triage. An ideal candidate is available, approachable, and humble, and will recognize the value of clinical judgment and education in decision-making over excessive work-up. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!
This part-time role comes with reduced hours; however, we are seeking applicants who can commit to a minimum of 56 hours per month of work, which is 7 (seven) eight-hour shifts. Participation in additional backup coverage will be expected yet flexible, and it is proportionately less than a full time physician’s commitment.
WHO WE ARE
We are changing how EMS navigates care. RightSite partners with 911/EMS to connect non-emergency patients with a Telehealth EM Physician and navigate them to the right site of care. Patients instantly access an EM Physician and a Patient Navigator who provide a trusted, genuine human connection in a time of need. EMS becomes more available for critical emergencies while we deliver higher quality care at a lower cost and better experience for everyone.
