Full Job Description
Begreatsa, a leading company in the hospitality industry, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our dynamic team. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. This position requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Process and maintain payroll records for all employees -
- Compute wages, deductions, and overtime payments -
- Review and verify time sheets and attendance records -
- Collaborate with HR to ensure that employee payroll data is accurate and up-to-date -
- Prepare and distribute paychecks and direct deposit statements -
- Calculate and process payroll adjustments, such as bonuses, commissions, and overtime -
- Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies -
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements -
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and other related reports to government agencies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred -
- Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or similar role in the hospitality industry -
- Proficient in using payroll software and Microsoft Office suite -
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills -
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy -
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity -
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills -
- Knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations -
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure -
- Strong organizational and time management skills
