Grove School, a leading educational institution in the field of Education Management, is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team. As a Payroll Clerk, you will play a vital role in managing payroll processes and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our payroll system. Responsibilities
- Process payroll for all employees accurately and in a timely manner
- Review employee time sheets, ensuring that hours worked and other relevant data are accurately recorded
- Calculate employee bonuses, incentives, and deductions, such as taxes and insurance premiums
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee information is maintained and updated in the payroll system
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and other stakeholders
- Address employee payroll inquiries and provide outstanding customer service
- Assist with the preparation and filing of payroll tax returns and compliance with related regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proven experience working in a payroll position, preferably in an educational setting
- Proficiency in using payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong understanding of payroll procedures, tax regulations, and labor laws
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills needed to calculate and verify payroll information accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Exceptional organization and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with employees and resolve payroll inquiries
