Description:
Click Sales Inc. dba ClickBank seeks Principal Cloud Engineer in Boise, ID.
Provision, configure, deploy, secure, maintain, monitor, and improve AWS infrastructure. Perform infrastructure automation development, infrastructure security, documenting the deployed solutions, investigation and recommendations on new services, and overall health of the cloud infrastructure. Implement, deploy and support internal and customer facing services, virtual server, networking and storage infrastructure. Design, implement, and maintain security controls for all infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud environments. Disaster Recovery design planning in a cloud environment. Assist management with the improvement of policy/procedure to support Cloud Security Engineering. Participate in developing security roadmap, adopt security best practices, and implement new ideas and innovations according to the industry trends. Resource allocation to meet development and production needs in AWS. Deploy network infrastructure across all network fabrics that support multiple Amazon Services and zones and regions. Create repetitive deployment processes that increase both velocity and quality. Write scripts and contribute to existing automation tools to reduce repetitive manual tasks, eliminating the risk of error. Ensure programs are developed and operated in accordance with internal and customer security policies and practices. Develop, track and report on key program performance metrics. Monitor processes and recommend improvements in efficiency and quality of security programs. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Schedule and perform maintenance for infrastructure and production services. Identify and implement improvements to the continuous integration and deployment processes.
100% remote and reports to Boise, ID office.
Requirements:
Position requires: Master’s degree in Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
3 years of experience is required in cloud or infrastructure engineering.
Must have experience in each of the following skills:
Experience in building fault-tolerant and scalable ecosystems, strategize build and deployment models, resilient networking and connectivity, storage, virtualization, and access control. Experience with application and cloud security, vulnerability assessment and remediation and implementing Zero-Trust Architecture. Experience with tool sets relevant to modern cloud security operations including SIEM, WAF, vulnerability scans, penetration tests, CIS benchmarking. Experience of infrastructure-as-code using CloudFormation/Terraform and Configuration management tools like Salt/Ansible/Puppet. Experience building, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining containerized workloads in ECS/EKS/Kubernetes and other services in AWS like S3, IAM, ELB/ALB, R53, SNS, SQS. Experience with troubleshooting and monitoring applications using Log monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Splunk,
Datadog. Experience picking up a project task and driving to completion and assisting with overall roadmap. Programming experience with Python, Go, Bash for automation tasks.
