Job Title: Product Manager.
Department: Product.
Reports to: SVP Product.
Experience Required: At least 3-4 years of Product Management experience.
Salary Range: $80,000 - 90,000.
Supervisory/Training Responsibilities: This role does not supervise/manage others. This is an Individual Contributor role with expectations below.
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM ET.
Job Location: Remote in the United States. Preferred location includes: Minneapolis, MN.
Job Overview
The Product Manager-Data is responsible for discovery, definition, and delivery of data and analytics tools and the reporting suite. This person will collaborate with the SVP of platform product to build a strategy for data and reporting and will be responsible for execution of that strategy. This role is responsible for close collaboration with business and client partners to understand requirements, and delivery in partnership with the engineering teams. This role will need someone to be comfortable managing in ambiguity and change, passionate about solving customer pain points, and strategic to ensure our humans are focused on the work that drives value. Previous experience working with data visualization tools a plus.

Some of your Key Responsibilities will Include:
- Data Management: Understanding common data analysis methodologies with an ability to write queries in order to mine data effectively.
- Product Development: Understanding the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch.
- Market Research: Conducting market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitor analysis.
- Product Strategy: Developing and articulating a clear product strategy aligned with business goals and market demands.
- User Experience (UX) Design: Understanding user needs and behaviors to create intuitive and user-friendly products.
- Data Analysis: Analyzing product metrics, user feedback, and market data to make data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and marketers, to achieve product goals.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address complex challenges and adapt to changing requirements.
Creativity and Innovation: Ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions to drive product differentiation and competitive advantage. Willingness to experiment, iterate, and learn from failures - Technical Aptitude: A basic understanding of technology and software development processes to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Product Marketing: Collaborating with marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging for products.
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban for iterative product development.
- Project Management: Ability to effectively plan, organize, and execute projects, including setting timelines, managing resources, and mitigating risks.
- Revise projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process.
- Prepare files on notification of final approval.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- 3+ years experience in product management, project management, software development, or related fields.
- Working with data visualization tools, query writing, analytics.
- Understanding of python and command line a plus.
- Experience in Retail is a plus
- Demonstrated success in bringing products to market and achieving business objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Slack and Google Products.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Can self-manage work from start to finish.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or design.
